FASHION WEEK 20011 - The

Well, as I've always said,"Fashion is just one way to express yourself." But what a way and "what bones!" The fun, frivolity, and outright fabulous-ness of it all! I love the energy, and the looks are to die for, what a better way to solve your problems then to watch someone else gamboling like a colt around in those wonderful stilettos and thigh high leather boots, while trying to figure out if she's really a size 4 in spite of being nearly 5'11" tall. I wish... Just jealous ladies. Any way, here are some of the big schedules for the events around town this week. Have fun, and remember to look fabulous! And those male models. Ouch! Speaking of which, I had the opportunity to work lights at Asher Levine's Catwalk Show for Spring/Summer 2012 on Madison Avenue for Fashion Week.. FABuLOUS! So much fun and, like I said, Ouch! Those guys were just heartbreaking to look at...and his designs for next year are creative and stunning. A great time was had by all and some great futuristic styles seen on the models prowling the catwalk. I think someone was hearing about my experiences with calamari and quarantines! Darrell Wayne Evans (born May 1947 in Pasadena, California) is the manager and director of player personnel for the Victoria Seals of the Golden Baseball League. He is a former third baseman and first baseman in Major League Baseball who played from 1969 to 1989 with the Atlanta Braves (1969–76, 1989), San Francisco Giants (1976–83) and Detroit Tigers (1984–88). Overshadowed in his prime by fellow National League third baseman Mike Schmidt, he has been described by author Bill James as the most underrated player in baseball history, primarily because his defensive skill, home run power, and ability to draw walks in a long career were offset by a low career batting average of .248. He remains one of the few players to have hit over four hundred home runs without being considered for induction into the Baseball Hall Of Fame.

Evans became the first player to hit 40 home runs in both leagues, and at 38 became the oldest player ever to lead the league in home runs. Evans hit over 20 home runs in 10 different seasons and drew over 100 walks 5 times, with a career high 126 in 1974. In 1988, he hit his 400th home run, becoming the 22nd player to reach that milestone.

Evans retired after having joined Reggie Jackson in becoming only the second player to hit 100 home runs with three different teams, and ranking in 11th place among all-time walks leaders. Evans hit 60 home runs in his 40s, a major league record. He later served as a coach with the New York Yankees in 1990.

A two-time All-Star (1973 and 1983), Evans was selected as the third baseman on the 1973 Sporting News National League All-Star team. He won the 1983 Willie Mac Award for his spirit and leadership.

On November 2008, Evans became the first manager and director of player personnel for the expansion Victoria Seals of the Golden Baseball League. The team began play in April 2009.[1]

Carl E. Banks (born August 1962 in Flint, Michigan) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League from 1984 to 1995 for the New York Giants, the Washington Redskins and the Cleveland Browns. He made the Pro Bowl in 1987, had 39.5 career quarterback sacks, and was a member of the NFL's 1980's All-Decade Team. He played college football at Michigan State University and was the third overall pick in the 1984 NFL Draft. He was a member of the Giants teams that won Super Bowls XXI and XXV. Banks was a standout in their Super Bowl XXI victory in which he recorded 14 total tackles, including ten solo tackles.

After retiring from the NFL, Banks was a part-owner of the Arena Football League's New Jersey Red Dogs, along with ex-Giants Joe Morris and Harry Carson. Currently, Banks can be heard as one of the voices of Sirius NFL Radio and WFAN. In 2007, he became an analyst for the New York Giants radio broadcast.

I missed the Love Line conversation and hope it was fun! To the Bus Drivers and Pilots, be careful! Weezer and Oaths are both recuperating to some extent due to foul weather accidents. The Holidays are upon us and there are so many great opportunities to donate, raise funds, party, and spread the joy. Please, do it responsibly and give those bigger vehicles a wide berth, just because you're in a sports car doesn't mean those larger vehicles aren't in jeopardy. Remember, it takes longer for them to stop and maneuver around tiny cars and motorcycles. Not ALL of us enjoy doing The Tokyo Slide.

Marketing On Twitter Is A Waste of Time (unless....)

Many people use off-the-cuff methods they expect to make a difference in their returns. Same methods, same results ...
The trick is being creative and true to your followers. Providing to them what they want, how they want it and when they want it.
There are very few sources of good information out in the IM world, and if you've noticed, they have flocks of thousands of followers and subscribers. Don't you want to be one of those select few?
You have a good product that you want to turn a profit on, but are you sure of your methodology on Twitter? Now I can't give you a 'silver bullet', as truly there is no such thing, but I can give you a very solid foundation from which your profits from Twitter can flourish

I hear Garret, Delroy, and Roslyn were awesome in Naomi Wallace's 'Things of Dry Hours'-Directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson but the 28th was the last day. Hope you enjoyed it! You can find more of G-Man's work on this site (we ALL loved that raunchy western about some of my folks in my extended family [from Nebraska] he was in and it's available on DVD on the G-D site. Hi All! Well, here it comes...ANOTHER....Friday, the 13th movie. This time with someone from Supernatural! Appropriate, I guess....hmmm. Anyway, I remember being scared out of my wits by the first one. Let's see what this one brings. Nothing like being in New England with a group of friends near a mental hospital on Friday the 13th - All Hallow's Eve, I believe, going to watch a horror film and then having to drive home through No Man's Land in Danbury, Easton, and Fairfield, Connecticut after dark after watching 'JASON' on screen for however many hours! Man....creepy!
